We were never even able to get a car. The office was closed when we went to pick it up and there was no one to talk to and the link online had broken. Wouldn’t recommend!

Hertz location was not what I expected. I blame this partly on Kayak. I had input my starting point as the Austin airport, but was given a car located about 25 min away (by car). Hertz at the airport was totally unhelpful and refused to alter my reservation. After taking a lyft to the reservation location, the staff there were able to cancel my reservation and make a new one so that I could at least drop off at the airport, but it took about half an hour and they refused to let me use their restroom. Also it cost about twice as much and I haven't actually received the promise refund for the original reservation. Really, they could have at least let me use the restroom.

From the moment I got to the counter until I dropped the rental off was a breeze. The Gentleman at the counter was very understanding when we had a hiccup on deposit and was patient. He had great customer service and really made it easy for us as well as quick. When we dropped the vehicle off before operating hours, all the signs and instructions were simple. thank you!

We pre-paid for the vehicle but I will not do that again. Flights were so messed up we were delayed by a day and ended up arriving at a different location. We had to rent a 2nd car from the different location so I ended up paying for two cars. I tried to call to see about a refund or partial refund on the car I didn't pick up but was sent from phone number to phone number and (after being sent to one number that consisted of ad after ad after ad....) I finally gave up - which I suppose was the point. SO - I will not be pre-paying for a vehicle again. Too much uncertainty in the travel industry.

The staff and car was great but Kayak was not clear on their websites that the Enterprise I booked at was NOT the Enterprise at the airport. By the time we landed and realized this problem the location our car was at was closed for the day. PLEASE make rental car locations clear, not just with an address, we're from out of town, we don't know street names - label it as the airport rental location.
